To celebrate one of the first warm days of spring, we decided to go and have a picnic in the park. We packed up a lunch and made our way to the Lehi city park. We didn't have a portable chair for Logan, so feeding him proved to be a small challenge since he was mobile, but somehow we got the food in.
There were a lot of kids playing at the park, so during lunch we kept our eye on the baby swing. Once we got the chance, we threw Logan on. This was his first time and wasn't sure what to make of it. We think he started to enjoy it by the end, but by his facial expressions, it was hard to tell. No crying though, so we know he didn't dislike the experience.
Next up was the slide. Another first for Logan. Again, not quite sure how he enjoyed it. He first went down with mom, then with dad. Not a very long ride with dad though. I think I enjoyed the two second ride a little bit more than Logan.
I thought after a ride down holding my hands, Logan was ready for a little more independence. Mom got real nervous when I let go, but Logan actually enjoyed the slide much more on his own.
Back to the swing for a quick ride with Jess. He enjoyed this ride much more as a passenger.
Once the yawns started, we decided that was all the fun Logan could handle for one day.
It didn't take much for Logan to fall asleep on the way home.
